An adjustment or another service may be provided during the first visit when it is considered appropriate, you understand the recommendation, and you consent. Same-day treatment is not automatic, and individual responses vary.

How long should I allow for my first visit?
First visits generally require more time than follow-up appointments because they include conversation, examination, and explanation. Ask the clinic team what time to allow when scheduling.
Do I need to bring anything?

Will I receive an adjustment on the first day?
Possibly, but only when the examination indicates that it is appropriate and you consent. Sometimes further evaluation, additional information, or another type of care should come first.
Will an adjustment hurt?
Care is adapted to the patient and should be discussed throughout the visit. Some people experience temporary soreness afterward, similar to post-exercise soreness. Tell Doc Steve immediately if anything feels uncomfortable, and report significant or worsening symptoms.
Does everyone need X-rays?
No. Imaging should be considered only when clinically appropriate. Existing records may be useful, and additional imaging or referral will be discussed if the assessment indicates that it may be needed.
